Arthroleptis brevipes Ahl, 1924, Arch. Naturgesch., Abt. A,, 90: 252. Holotype: ZMB unnumbered according to the original publication. ZMB 26978, according to D. Blackburn (personal. comm.). Type locality: "Bismarckburg, Togo".

Abroscaphus brevipes — Laurent, 1957, Rev. Zool. Bot. Afr., 56: 274-275. by implication.

English Names

Togo Screeching Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 37).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Bismarckburg, Togo); possibly to be found in adjacent Ghana.
