Rana parva Taylor, 1920, Philipp. J. Sci., 16: 241. Holotype: EHT F409, by original designation; CM 3421, according to McCoy and Richmond, 1966, Ann. Carnegie Mus., 38: 249. Type locality: "Bunawan, Agusan [Province]", Mindanao I., Philippines.

Distribution

Undisturbed streams in lowland and lower montane forests on Mindanao Island, Philippines.

In the Limnonectes (Limnonectes) microdiscus group of Dubois, 1987 "1986", Alytes, 5: 63, who resurrected this species from subspecies status under Rana microdisca where it had been placed by Inger, 1966, Fieldiana, Zool., 52: 215.
