Rana nitida Smedley, 1932 "1931", Bull. Raffles Mus., 6: 107. Type(s): Not stated; holotype (lectotype designation by implication) considered to be BMNH 1931.10.8.1, by Kiew, 1975 "1974", Malayan Nat. J., 28: 107; BMNH 1947.2.1.35 (formerly 1931.10.8.1), 13931.10.8.2, and ZRC 1.849-850 considered syntypes by Das and Lim, 2001, Raffles Bull. Zool., 49: 8. Type locality: "Tanah Rata", Pahang, Malaya, Malaysia. Das and Lim, 2001, Raffles Bull. Zool., 49: 8, gave the additional locality of "'Brichang Rd' (in the Cameron Highlands, Pahang, West Malaysia" for ZRC 1.850 a purported syntype.

English Names

Distribution

Known only from the Cameron Highlands and Fraser's Hill of Pahang, Peninsular Malaysia, 900-1500 m elevation.
