Syntypes: ZMA 5797 (5 specimens) and 1 specimen in FMNH (according to Marx, 1976, Fieldiana, Zool., 69: 63), according to Van Tuijl, 1995, Bull. Zool. Mus. Univ. Amsterdam, 14: 128. Type locality: "Loka bei Bonthain", Sulawesi, Indonesia.
