Forested regions (0-1400 m) of Java, Indonesia.

Comment

In the Limnonectes (Limnonectes) microdiscus group of Dubois, 1987 "1986", Alytes, 5: 63. Taxonomy discussed by Inger, 1966, Fieldiana, Zool., 52: 212-222. A number of former subspecies are now considered independent species: Limnonectes dammermani, Limnonectes palavanensis, Limnonectes finchi, and Limnonectes parva.
