Limnonectes megastomias McLeod, 2008, Zootaxa, 1807: 31. Holotype: CUZMA-2003.134, by original designation. Type locality: "spring-fed pool at head of intermittent stream in deciduous evergreen forest at Sakaerat Environmental Research Station, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Wang Nam Khieo District, Thailand, 14°29.680′ N 101°52.257′ E, 645 m".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known only from three localities in east-central Thailand, associated with the Khorat Basin.

Comment

Related to Limnonectes kuhlii according to the original publication. Matsui, Panha, Khonsue, and Kuraishi, 2010, Zootaxa, 2615: 1-22, suggested that the population from Loei, Thailand, is likely a distinct species.
