Type locality: "in the Simulaw River Drainage, 2.3 km N, 1.0 km E of Peak 1409, Mt. Pasian (7° 58′16.26″ N, 126° 17′50.52″ E; WGS-84), Municipality of Monkayo, Davao Del Norte Province, Mindanao Island, Philippines".
