Genova, Ser. 3, 69: 214. Type locality: "Thagatà Juwa; Kaw-ka-riet" (=Kokarit, east of Moulmein), northern Tenasserim, Myanmar. Elsewhere in original publication noted as "Thagatà Juwà, Village on the hills South West of M. Mooleyit (400-500 metres)" and "Kaw-ka-riet, about 30 miles from Moulmein, at the foot of the Dawna Chain". Restricted to Kaw-ka-riet by lectotype designation.
