Colostethus utcubambensis Morales, 1994, Rev. Esp. Herpetol., 8: 95. Holotype: MUSM 13986, by original designation. Type locality: "cerca de Tingo, 06° 21′ S, 77° 49′ aprox. Río Utcubamba, Amazonas, Perú. 2391 m".
