Colostethus ruizi Lynch, 1982, Herpetologica, 38: 371. Holotype: ICN 5419, by original designation. Type locality: "on the border of a stream, [along] the road to Fusagasuga, between [Alto de] San Miguel and La Aguadita", Departamento Cundinamarca, Colombia.
