Hoplophryne Barbour and Loveridge, 1928, Mem. Mus. Comp. Zool., 50: 253. Type species: Hoplophryne uluguruensis Barbour and Loveridge, 1928, by original designation.

Distribution

Usambara, Uluguru, Nguru, and Magrotto mountains, Tanzania.
