Distribution
Southern Amazon basin in drainage of Madeira and Tapajos rivers, Brazil, possibly into adjacent Bolivia.
Comment
Considered a synonym of Eleutherodactylus by Lynch, 1980, Am. Mus. Novit., 2696: 1-24, and Lynch and Lescure, 1980, Bull. Mus. Natl. Hist. Nat. Paris, Sect. A, Zool., 2: 311.
