Clypeus sinuous in front view, vertical in lateral view, high, ALE separated from edge of carapace by their radius or more, median projection absent; setae present, light, needle-like, a pair of long, thick, darkish needle-like setae on each half of the clypeus, with the inner ones longer than the outer ones. Chilum absent. Eyes six, well developed, ALE largest, all eyes oval; posterior eye row straight from above, recurved from front; ALE separated by their radius to diameter, ALE-PLE separated by less than ALE radius, PME touching throughout most of their length, PLE-PME separated by less than PME radius. Sternum longer than wide, orange-brown, uniform, fused to carapace, median concavity absent, with radial furrows between coxae I-II, II-III, III-IV, radial furrow opposite coxae III absent, surface coarsely reticulate, without pits, microsculpture covering entire surface, sickle-shaped structures absent, anterior margin with continuous transverse groove, posterior margin extending posteriorly beyond anterior edges of coxae IV as single extension, anterior corner unmodified, distance between coxae approximately equal, lateral margins unmodified, without posterior hump, infracoxal grooves without openings; radial furrows between coxae I-II, II-III and III-IV only very weakly developed, rather appearing as indentions of sternum margin; single setae originating from middle of microsculptures, SEM reveals slightly plumose character of setae; posterior edge of sternum protruding as single extension, covered with few small blunt denticles (=modified hair bases); setae abundant, light, needle-like, evenly scattered, originating from surface, without hair tufts. Mouthparts: Chelicerae, endites and labium orange-brown. Chelicerae straight, inner margin of paturon anterior face distally extending in a long fingerlike projection (outgrowth of promargin); anterior face with few, scattered thickened setae; promargin with row of flattened setae in combination with plumose setase; posterior margin of inner surface upfolded to narrow ridge with median groove; posterior face with two spatulate setae, about as long as fang; without teeth on both promargin and retromargin; fangs without tooth-like projections, directed posteriorly, shape normal, without prominent basal process, tip unmodified; setae light, needle-like, evenly scattered, sparse, with a group of few thick (much thicker than in females), rather darkish, needle-like setae on anterior face of paturon; paturon distal region unmodified, posterior surface unmodified, promargin with row of flattened setae, inner margin unmodified. Labium triangular, fused to sternum, anterior margin deeply incised, same as sternum in sclerotization, slightly compressed and not as long as in females but still triangular (revealed by SEM imaging); subdistal portion with unmodified setae, ventral surface with 5 needle-like setae: two subdistal setae (one on each side of labium incision) and a transverse line of 3 more proximal setae. Endites distally not excavated, anteromedian tip unmodified, posteromedian part unmodified, same as sternum in sclerotization, outer margin subdistally with a pair of remarkably modified, darkish and thick hairs, resembling the blossom of a bird of paradise flower (Strelitzia sp.): a rather long, flat distal part covered with little spiny and filamentous outgrowths is attached in a 90 degree bend to a unmodified but rather thick basal part.
