Tissues

All mammalian tissue samples have been transferred to the Ambrose Monell Cryo Collection. There is a searchable database of tissues on the AMCC web site. Information regarding holdings as well as correspondence regarding requests or loan status should be directed to the AMCC Collections Manager.

Requests for loans of tissues should be sent directly to Department of Mammalogy as Departmental approval is required before the loan is processed in the AMCC. Requests for tissues should be submitted on a tissue loan application.

In order to obtain tissue samples such as skin punches, dried tissue from skeletal specimens, tooth drilling, etc. from preserved specimens, researchers must submit a destructive sampling request.
