Bat Collection Improvement: An NSF-funded project to upgrade storage conditions of the dry bat collection, consisting of approximately 35,000 specimens.

Vertebrate Database Upgrade: A collaboration of the Departments of Mammalogy, Ornithology, Herpetology and Ichthyology to establish a single database system for Division use.

Imaging of Mammal Types: Work is underway to prepare digital documentation of primary types held by the Department. This includes digital imagery and on-line access to images and specimen data.
