Sarfraz Lodhi has been working on the beetle collection since 1974 and, in close consultation with Dr. Lee Herman, does much of the day-to-day work caring for the collection and organizing specimens to be lent for study by other scientists. Sarfraz also manages the mollusk collection under the supervision of Dr. Mark Siddall.
