Description: The chelicerae are strong; there are no teeth; cheliceral promargin with modified setae bearing several feathery branches; the fang is long and curved. The legs have greatly reduced spination. The tarsi are scopulate and pseudosegmented.

Distribution: West and East Africa, the Middle East, and India east to Malaysia and Singapore; probably Australia.
