Dr. Kimberly N. Russell
Dr. Kimberly Russell (maiden name Kimberly C. Norris) received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Colgate University and her Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She also completed post-doctorates at The Center for Environmental Research and Conservation at Columbia University and the USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center in Maryland and served as the Juliana Wilson Thompson Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology at The College of Wooster for the 2001/2002 academic year. Her research interests span the fields of ecology, behavior and evolution. Her particular focus is on identifying the most efficient and accurate methods to conserve biodiversity, especially invertebrates, in terrestrial systems.
Martin T. Do
Martin Do received his BS in electrical engineering from Tennessee Technological University in 1989 and MS in computer science in 1996 where he did his research on pattern recognition system using artificial neural networks and wavelets for taxonomic identification. He has worked for Raytheon corporation as a systems engineer and for IBM corporation as a software engineer.
Dr. Norman I. Platnick
Dr. Norman I. Platnick received his undergraduate degree from Concord College (Athens, WV), his master's from Michigan State University, and his Ph. D. from Harvard. Since 1973, he has been curator at the American Museum of Natural History, including a seven-year stint as Chairman of the Entomology Department. He has published on a wide variety of spider groups, and also on the obscure arachnid order Ricinulei.
Jeremy Huff
Jeremy is currently finishing his Bachelors in Biology at City College. He hopes to pursue a Ph.D. under the direction of Dr. Lorenzo Prendini on the systematics of arachnids.
