Depositing, Donating and Borrowing Material

We welcome additions to our collections and requests for loans of material so long as you have contacted the curator responsible for the group to which the material belongs.

All donations should be accompanied by a letter of transmittal which specifies the material donated and that there are no restrictions on the donation.

Please note that foreign material (non U.S.) should be accompanied by a valid U.S.F.W. 3-177 form front page and any continuation sheets (these forms are interactive fill-in pdf files) filed with Fish & Wildlife within 3 months of the material having been brought into the country. As well, copies of any other collecting permits or export permits should accompany the material.
