Crematogaster (Decacrema) liengmei Forel
Type location Mozambique (Cremastogaster gallicola
v. liengmei, n.var., Forel, 1894b: 96, worker); subspecies
caculata (Cremastogaster Peringueyi Em. r. caculata
n. st., Forel, 1915c: 341, worker) from South Africa and
weitzeckeri (Crematogaster Weitzeckeri, n. sp.,
Emery, 1895h: 28, illustrated, worker) from South Africa; junior
synonym of weitzeckeri is kloofensis (Cremastogaster
coelestis Sant. v. kloofensis n. var., Forel, 1914d:
237, worker; syn by Arnold, 1920a: 549); worker only described
.
Arnold (1920a) found acanthobia (Cr. excisa r.
andrei var. acanthobia, Forel, 1914d: 236,
worker), gordonensis (Cr. excisa r. andrei
var. gordonensis, Forel, 1914d: 236, worker) and thais
(as Cr. excisa r. andrei var. thais,
Forel, 1913a: 126, worker) all have ten-segmented antennae and
placed them under liengmei race weitzeckeri; this
is unclear in Bolton (1995) where they are simply listed as "unavailable
names". |
