Cerapachys decorsei (Santschi)

return to key {link to the Hymenoptera Name Server} Type locality Chad (Lioponera decorsei, Santschi, 1912b: 150, male by Dr Decorse; combination in Cerapachys, Brown, 1975: 22), male only described (see Bolton, 1995). Santschi gave the location as "Darbanda méridional (Kébédjé, Mission Charri Tchad)" but the locality cited by Wheeler (1922) is Krebedje, southern Dabanda, "French Congo" (5°55'N, 19°E), in the present Central African Republic .
