{short description of image}Subgenus definition - Myrmoxygenys Emery (1925b: 70) - monotypic - Camponotus caesar, and monomorphic, with large worker only; head widest anteriorly, rounded posterior of the eyes in an ogee curve; narrow posterior articulation; manidbles with five teeth, the apical tooth elongated and sharp.
