WORKER - smaller, TL 2.5-2.6 mm; differentiated by having the hair closest to the apex of the outer margin of the clypeus short and stout, also with eyes with only 5-6 facets; colour uniform light to medium-brown (Bolton, 1981a, not illustrated).
