Collected in South Africa, Grootvadesrsbosch, Western Cape, 38.59°S 020.49°E, by H G Robertson; in dead tree trunk ca 2.5 cm diameter, 1 m above ground; in indigenous forest, 16.ix.1995; holotype worker & at least 12 paratype workers.
