WORKER - HL 1.50 mm, HW 1.38, eye length 0.30 mm, from Brown (1978, illustrated, Fig. 25).
Characters as in key, plus stout almost peg-like profile to petiole, seen from above the apex is lunate.

Brown based his elevation to species on specimens from Ghana, at CRIG and Kade (D. Leston), the labels indicated "active at night". A single worker was collected in leaf litter under secondary forest at CRIG, by Belshaw & Bolton (1994b).
