On Saturday, February 24, 2002, the Center for Biodiversity and Conservation hosted a meeting of members of New York's community-based environmental organizations, concerned individuals, and key New York State legislators. Our goal was to foster, through direct dialogue, an enhanced appreciation of the concerns of each group and a stronger foundation for future working relationships. The New York State Environmental Summit: Working with State Legislators was funded in part by New York State.
