Creating content:
- Keep it simple.
- Concentrate more on the information you want to present than on the layout of the information. If you're just starting with the CMS (or Plone), put all of your information (including images and such) into one page to start with. If you don't like the way the information is being presented through the CMS, try splitting the content into a multi-page document.
- Leave the colours alone.
- Don't change the colour of the text or the background, or put images in the background. If you insist on changing the colour of the text, do so sparingly; otherwise, consider making stand-alone pages, outside of the CMS.
