FACILITIES LAYOUT

The Monell Collection is housed in a 2,000-square-foot laboratory in the basement of the Museum.The Facilities comprise 5 different sections: a lobby, an office (Collection Manager), a wet lab, a dry lab, a cryo-storage rooms in which the cryogenic vats restThe cryo-storage room is also connected to a Liquid Nitrogen Bulk tank situated in the staff-only courtyard of the Museum.

The lobby is usually accessible to all staff members. The wet lab, dry lab and cryo-storage room are restricted to the AMCC staff only.
